Harriet Castor

HARRIET CASTOR

Harriet is a sophisticated author of many works who had her first book accepted for publication at the age of 12. She garnered much critical acclaim for her crossover novel VIII which told the story of Henry Tudor’s childhood in his own words. She has also skilfully written abridged retellings of classics such as Alice in Wonderland, Gulliver's Travels and The Railway Children as well as biographies of Henry VIII and Winston Churchill.

She lives in Bristol with her husband and two daughters and when she’s not writing you’ll find her exploring old buildings, watching Fred Astaire movies, and buying way too many books for the size of her house.
