Marilyn is the author of over 100 books for young readers. She grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and had a long career as professor at St John’s University in New York, focusing on children’s and young adult literature as well as serving on the Notable Children’s Books committee and reviewing children’s and young adult books for The New York Times.
She now lives in Paris and writes full time. When she’s not writing you’ll find her hanging out in sidewalk cafes.
