CLAIRE

I have worked in children's publishing for over twenty years as Art Director at Hodder Children’s Books and in design for Random House. I am looking for author and illustrator proposals for picture books, young fiction and non-fiction. In illustration I'm also looking for creative brand building potential in markets outside of publishing.

PENNY

I’ve worked in publishing for nearly thirty years at publishers Walker Books in the UK and Candlewick Press in the US and then as an agent with Caroline Sheldon. I have a particular love for the picture book but am looking for authors and illustrators working across fiction and non-fiction for all ages.

Between us we have a wealth of experience. We fully understand intellectual property and have relationships with top-level contacts in publishing, film, television and licensing globally

We are a members of both the Association of Authors' Agents and the Association of Illustrators.

We work with The Rights People in the sale of foreign rights and with Valerie Hoskins Associates in the sale of film and television rights.
