Award-winning author Ben is a former stand-up comedian and part-time post man. He has written jokes for everything from radio shows to greetings cards. His debut novel The Private Blog of Joe Cowley (OUP) was acclaimed as the new Adrian Mole and What's That in Dog Years won three regional awards including the Stockport Children's Book Award. The Soup Movement was nominated for the Carnegie Award.
He lives in Tamworth with his wife and young children, and when he’s not writing you’ll find him... waterskiing, rock climbing and inventing hobbies that make him sound interesting.
